KS Hawai`i will return to action this Thursday (August 29th) with the annual Kamehameha Schools Hawai`i Labor Day Classic Girls Volleyball Tournament. The tournament action begins at 8:00am on Thursday at both Koai`a gymnasium (3 Courts) on the school's campus as well as at the Afook-Chinen Auditorium (1 Court) and runs until about 9:00pm at night. The tourney will also feature afternoon/evening matches at the school's La'amea gym (Two courts) beginning at 3:00pm. The Gold Division Playoffs are slated for Koai`a beginning 8:00am on Saturday. This year's 38-team tournament features 26 teams from the mainland, 7 teams from Oahu, 1 team from Maui, and 4 Big Island teams.
This event is open to the public at all three sites and there are no admission fees.
