81 cross country runners and 8 cross country teams (Girls Event)  competed at the 3rd highschool meet in Waiakea High. 
Hilo Viking juniors Kekaihulali and Kekaimalino Halpern are the top 2 finishers.
Kekaihulali completed the 5-Kilometer run in a time of 19 minutes and 28 seconds; she was also the top runner during the kick-off last Sept 1st @ HPA.  Coming in second is Kekaimalino with a strong finish of 22 minutes and 8 seconds.
