The Kamehameha Schools Hawai`i Campus (KSH) Girls Volleyball Teams hosted the Keaau High School Cougars in Big Island Interscholastic (BIIF) action today, September 6th at Koai`a gymnasium.
In the Junior Varsity (JV) opener it was KSH winning the best 2 out of 3 sets match by scores of 25-14 and 25-0.
In the Varsity (Best 3 out of 5 sets) match it was the homestanding Warriors prevailing in straight sets by scores of 25-7, 25-11, and 25-7.
KSH was led by the hitting of Shay Beals with 8 kills.
Maile Kuamo`o led with 21 assists
Ziona Launiu and Maela Honma both chipped in with 9 digs
Kealohi Dudoit closed out with 5 service aces.
The next match for the KSH Girls will be next Tuesday, September 12th when they host the Waiakea Warriors with a JV match beginning at 5:00pm and the varsity to follow thereafter.
