KAM vs KEAL GIRLS VOLLEYBALL HIGHLIGHTS (8/26/23)

The Kamehameha Schools Hawai`i Campus (KSH) Girls Volleyball Teams returned to Big Island Interscholastic (BIIF) action today, August 26th by travelling across the island to Kona where they met the Wave Riders of Kealakehe High School in a Division I match.

 

In the Junior Varsity (JV) opener it was KSH winning the best 2 out of 3 sets match in straight sets by scores of 25-10  and 25-9. 

 

In the Varsity (Best 3 out of 5 sets) match it was the visiting Warriors also prevailing in straight sets by scores of 25-10, 25-9, and 25-8.

 

KSH was led by the hitting of Shay Beals with 10 kills.

Maile Kuamo`o fed hitters for 19 assists.

Maela Honma also led the way with 6 service aces.

 

The next match for the KSH Girls will be their season home opener on Tuesday, August 29th as they will host the Hilo High school Vikings with the JV match scheduled for 5:00pm and the varsity to follow.
